Coronado Over Labor Day Weekend

One of Jeff's best college friends got married over Labor Day Weekend in San Diego so we decided to take a mini-vacation to San Diego & Cornado to see family & friends.

We stayed at Grandma Mae's house in Coronado and Ben got to try "swimming" for the first time... the jury is still out if he liked it or not... but his Dad sure had fun experimenting!

Grandma Mae had the magic touch with Ben. Whether it was feeding, burping or playing with him, Ben had a smile from ear to ear for his Great Grandma. He also got to meet his great Aunt & Uncle, Kevin & Nancy, who also had the magic touch (there is a job opening for 'baby whisperer' in Monterey if any of them decide they want a change of scenery).

At Tim's wedding, Jeff & his other good college friend, Scott, were groom's men & had a great time!

While in San Diego, we got to meet up with Daphne & Tony Skogen who got to meet Ben for the first time. This was also Ben's first time in a bar... well, it was a sports bar and a Saturday afternoon so not really a bar...

Last but not least, we saw our good friend Niamh who just moved from Monterey to Coronado. Her sons Conor (pictured) and Brody played with Ben. Next time we are in Coronado, it will be nice to see Niamh's hubby, Wes, who is stationed in Bahrain right now.

What a fun vacation!
